Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jackie Murphy studied Anthropology, Religion, and Social Work at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She continued her studies at Princeton Theological Seminary where she graduated in 2025 with both a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Christian Education and Formation.
Jackie’s ministry experience has provided her the opportunity to work with and serve people of all ages in church, hospital, and non-profit settings. Through each position, she has delighted in the opportunity to come alongside others in the life long journey to know and love God, neighbor, and self. Jackie looks forward to joining in that holy work at Huguenot Memorial Church as their Pastoral Resident while she pursues ordination in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
The practices of appreciating a good story, enjoying a strong cup of coffee, and exploring the beauty of creation fill Jackie’s free time. Finding great joy in the artistic process, she can often be found writing a poem, painting a picture, or crocheting.
