Weekly meetings of both Junior and Senior High Youth take place throughout the program year and involve food, discussion, games, mission and prayer. Annual Mission Trips are offered for all church members high school aged and above.
Middle School Youth Ministry
During the school year, a weekly program for students in grades 6, 7, and 8 is held each Tuesday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. Each week's program includes supper in the Library ($6 per youth), fellowship, games, community building activities, and important discussions about values, self-esteem, and relationships. These gatherings are open to the entire community.
Senior High Youth Ministry
Our senior high youth meet every Monday night ($6 per youth) from 6:30 - 8 p.m. for supper, conversations with friends, discussions about moral, ethical, and justice issues, and games. These gatherings are open to the entire community.
Youth Ministry Activities
Both our middle school youth group and senior high youth group support local mission efforts such as the Midnight Run, the Christmas Tree Sale, and Camp VIVA reunions. Social activities are also planned throughout the year.
Middle School and Senior High Church School Classes
We have one class for middle school students and one class for senior high students that meet on Sunday morning during the Church School hour for discussions about current issues and the Christian faith.
A class for 8th grade students who would like to commit to the joys and responsibilities of Church membership is held each year. Confirmation is open to any student who wants to learn the vocabulary to best state their faith, and in turn become a member of our congregation.
