The Presbyterian Women of Huguenot (PW) 'builds an inclusive, caring community of women' through annual fellowship events, programs and special groups that meet on a regular basis.
The Fall Welcome Back Gathering
In September, the PW holds a welcome-back gathering at the home of a PW member. While enjoying food and drink, the women of the church get to reconnect after summer travels and talk about plans for the coming year.
The Holiday Gathering and Budget Vote
Held around Christmas-time and hosted at the home of a PW member, the holiday gathering is a chance for the women to meet during the busy holiday season. After a period of fellowship, the women hold a meeting to review and approve the PW budget for the coming year. See the PW Mission page for more information about the PW Budget and the non-profit organizations supported by the PW.
One of the most popular events in town and attended by over 200 people, the Huguenot Cabaret is the main annual fundraiser of the Presbyterian Women. Held in the church gym, the event consists of dinner, a silent auction and a a show featuring talented singers and musicians from Pelham and the surrounding community. A wide range of musical styles are performed, from Broadway tunes to Classic rock. The dinner format is 'dinner-by-the-bite', which consists of delicious hors d'oevres as well as a buffet dinner.
Every June the women of the church gather for dinner to celebrate the conclusion of the church year. During the evening, there is an installation ceremony to welcome the new PW Coordinating team for the next year.
